As someone who lives and works in Kyrgyzstan, you did an awesome job explaining and informing your readers on the south side of Issyk Kul.

I will say, the word babushka is not a traditional healer, it is the word for grandmother in Russian. 😉

In reply to Christine. Thank you, Christine! Kyrgyzstan certainly surprised us during our first visit there almost ten years ago, and continues to do so even after several visits. It's over 90% mountains, so if you enjoy trekking and the outdoors there's a ton to do. But, it's the Kyrgyz culture and its living nomadic history that you still see today that make it so unique.
