I find the more that I travel, the harder it is to be open to possibility. The other day, I was sitting on a plane thinking “ho hum, I’m on my way to Berlin”. It didn’t seem exciting to me because I have been several times before. I had to give myself a stern talking-to, reminding me how exciting it is to be able to move freely about the world and reminding myself about all the little nuances that are available to discover, no matter if it’s my first time to a place or my 30th.

Thanks so much for putting a name to it so I can more easily access the curious, wondering side of myself that travel is supposed to bring out.
