We do not know firsthand of any half-day wine tours in the Kakheti region as we hired a local driver for the day to take us around. If you’re in Telavi (main town in the Kakheti region) then ask at the tourist office as there might be a local company offering such tours. If you’re coming from Tbilisi a quick search showed that Viator (we have no connection/link to them) offer a few day trips from there: http://www.viator.com/Tbilisi-tours/Wine-Tasting-and-Winery-Tours/d22516-g6-c21
